Full Spectrum CBD and "The Entourage Effect"
Question: Does your CBD oil contain THC? Will using your CBD Oil cause a positive drug test?
Answer: Yes and possibly.
In addition to the major cannabinoids (THC and CBD), full-spectrum (whole plant) CBD oil contains over 400 active compounds in trace levels or higher. Our hemp plants have been tested and contain well below the 0.3% THC limit.
Cannabis research had been focused on how the full spectrum of cannabinoids work better together than when isolated from one another. This is known as the “Entourage Effect”.
We receive many inquires about the taste of our CBD oil or whether we make artificially-flavored CBD oil We choose to use a complete full-spectrum recipe using hemp seed oil as a carrier instead of cheap carrier oils. Hemp seed oil is packed with Omega acids and all the essential fatty acids that we need for good brain and cardiovascular health.
Our CBD oil is a full-spectrum oil. Therefore, it does contain trace amounts (0.3% or lower) of THC. To date, we have not received any reports that our CBD oil has caused a positive (or false positive) THC drug test; however, studies have shown that it is possible. We suggest that you either discuss with your doctor, employer or anyone else that you must submit to a drug test or discontinue use at least two weeks in advance of testing.
